About This Role
Earn $18–$30 per hour cleaning homes in the greater Houston area on your own schedule. This is a **1099 independent contractor role** — you set your availability, accept jobs that fit your schedule, and get paid weekly via direct deposit or Zelle. You bring your own supplies and transportation; we bring the steady flow of bookings.
Tosh Cleaning Services is a licensed and insured residential and commercial cleaning company serving the Houston metro area. We work with homeowners, Airbnb hosts, and property managers across the Inner Loop, Heights, Bellaire, Memorial, and Galleria.
Responsibilities
Travel to client homes within your chosen service radius
Perform standard, deep, move-out, or STR turnover cleanings per our checklist
Arrive on time, in Tosh-branded apparel (provided), and ready to work
Photograph completed work for quality documentation
Communicate promptly with dispatch via text about job status
Maintain a 4.7+ customer rating to stay active on the platform
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation with auto insurance
Willing and able to provide your own cleaning supplies and equipment
At least 1 year of paid residential cleaning experience preferred — will train the right candidate
Smartphone with data plan (we dispatch via text)
Able to lift up to 25 lbs, stand/bend/kneel for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
Pass a background check (a criminal record does not automatically disqualify)
Comfortable working in homes with pets
Nice to Haves
Bilingual English/Spanish (bonus available)
Experience with Airbnb / vacation rental turnovers
Own EPA-registered or green-certified cleaning products
Existing general liability insurance
